The music may not be familiar to you but the composers certainly are. The Schubert Mass is quite short and mostly in a chorale style ie all parts singing the same word at the same time.

The Handel piece is a based on Ovid’s Metomorphoses. In style It is considered the pinnacle of pastoral opera in England, often featuring a blend of joyful, idyllic scenes and, later, melancholy.

Importantly it is live music and there is something quite magical about having live music in our church. I hope you will attend.
